Useful info and conditions
Arrival and departure.
On arrival you can go to the room from 3 pm.
You must leave your room at 11 am on the day of departure.
Comfort rooms have a check out at 13 o'clock.
This allows us to thoroughly clean the room for the new arrivals.
Deviations from these hours are possible on request and in consultation with the reservation service.
The breakfast buffet is served every morning between 7.30 am and 10.30 am in the breakfast room on the ground floor.
If you wish to have breakfast earlier or later than these hours, you can always request this at our reservation service.
Specific requests such as gluten-free products can be made on request, a few days in advance so that the hotel can place the necessary orders with the suppliers on time.
You can also get a lunch package at 7 euros per person.
The hotel serves breakfast in the room for an additional cost of 10 euros per room.
Because of HACCP legislation according to the FASFC (federal Food Association for the Safety of the Food Chain) no pets are allowed in the breakfast room. The hotel wishes to strictly adhere to this.
Your hotel room - budget, standard or comfort room - upgrades
The ACCES hotel offers you this choice between three different room types: BUDGET room (simple non-renovated room), STANDARD room or a new more luxurious COMFORT room.
Upon arrival, our staff will inform you whether you can upgrade to a higher room category on that day. The availability and price of the upgrade depends on the occupation and the booking channel you have chosen.
Relax and be active in ACCES Hotel
In the hotel you can enjoy a private sauna for up to 3 people. This is located on the 8th floor.
For the price of 7 euros per person you can enjoy an hour of peace and quiet. Everything like towels, soap, bathrobes, relaxation music, water ... is available to use this sauna for one hour.
Reservation for this is desired and can be done on site at the hotel at the reception. Guests who have reserved a comfort room have free use of the sauna (reservation is needed)
The solarium can be reserved at the hotel at the reception for the price of 5 euros per half hour. Each guest provides for himself the necessary sunscreen products or others.
The ACCES hotel bikes can be rented at the reception of the hotel. If you want to be sure of these bikes, reserve them in time. Price per day per bike 15 euro (there are also actions: ask for it during your reservation)
The hotel bar is open 24 hours. You can enjoy a drink and read the newspaper daily. Every evening between 22 and 24 hours there is a glass of bubbles of the month for only 2 euros.
Enjoying the sun or the city center of Ostend with lateral sea view can be free on the terrace with deckchairs on the 8th floor. There is also the small fitness room (scooter, bicycle, weights and climbing frame) for those who want to be active in sport.
Reservation and cancellation.
By reservation directly at the hotel (not via an external partner)
Your reservation is only definitive after receipt of an advance or with a valid credit card number.
If canceled up to 1 day before the arrival date, no costs will be charged.
In case of cancellation the same or less than 1 day before arrival date or no-show (you do not show up) 50% of the total reservation will be charged
eg You cancel on Wednesday before arrival Thursday, then 50% of the total amount will be charged.
eg You cancel on Tuesday before arrival Thursday, this can be done free of charge.
May we ask you to report any cancellation in writing (mail) in this way we avoid misunderstandings.
When booking is not directly at the hotel (via an external partner)
If canceled up to 1 day before the arrival date, no costs will be charged.
In case of cancellation the same or less than 1 day before arrival date or no-show (you do not show up) 100% of the total reservation will be charged.
If you have booked with an external partner of the hotel (so not directly at the hotel) you must first request your cancellation from this partner.
If you wish to depart earlier than the reserved departure date during the stay, then the hotel has the right to charge the total amount reserved.
If you wish to make changes to the bookings after the booking has been made, ACCES hotel is not obliged to comply with this.
The hotel also has the right to retain and cancel any reservation made.
The hotel is not intimidated by hotel guests who express threats in the form of bad reviews and has the right to refuse a reservation or hotel guest.
We would like to point out to our guests that they are reserving a certain room type and not an individual room number. As far as possible, your specific wishes are always taken into account and we recommend that you inform the reservation service well in advance.
So if you prefer a room front, back, low or high floor ... then this is possible according to availability on the day of arrival.
Guarantee of your reservation
To guarantee your reservation for the overnight stay, only these apply:

If a reservation is not guaranteed in time, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the room.
Rooms / reservations without guarantee will be automatically released until 8 o'clock on the day of arrival.
Payment is made in cash, with bancontact or by credit card VISA or MASTERCARD.
A tourist tax of 2.12 euros per room per night is charged. The hotel transfers this amount to the city of Ostend, which invests this in new tourist initiatives.
An administrative cost of 0.38 € per room is charged per room per night.
For companies that can (after approval of the management) pay after check-out there is a payment term of 30 days after receipt of the invoice.
Actions, promotions and arrangements.

Promotions and promotions can not be combined with other offered prizes. Previous made reservations can not be canceled free of charge (administration fee of 100 euros) to exchange them for a promotion.

The hotel is doing everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay. However, we can not be held liable for temporary and unforeseen defects in equipment and / or household goods. We always try to solve them as quickly as possible. Any shortcomings or defects can not give rise to compensation or price reductions.
Pets are not allowed at the hotel. Only a companion dog can request this in advance.

Hotel rules - house rules

It is forbidden to
- Use Emergency exits as normal entrances and exits.

Tranquillity and respect in the hotel

Any form of aggressiveness or drunkenness can lead to immediate removal at the hotel (possibly with police) without the guest being entitled to a reimbursement or reimbursement of costs already incurred.
Smoking in the hotel.

Half board package - dining in Ostend
If you opt for a package with dinner included, we would like to point out that dinner is not served at the hotel itself. Your table is reserved by it in a restaurant near the hotel.
If you wish to dine or have lunch during your stay in Ostend, we can offer you a wide range of good restaurants based on our self-composed restaurant list. You can ask for them at the desk of the reception or read them in the bar of the hotel.
Children under 16 years of age choose and pay for their dinner in the restaurant itself.
Welcome back voucher
If you are in possession of a Welcome Back Voucher, we advise you to hand it over to the reception at check out. This will then immediately award your discount.
Your discount will not be taken into account when confirming your reservation. In other words, this will only be granted on the spot upon check-out and upon delivery.

Children up to 5 years stay free of charge at the hotel. On request, the hotel can place a baby cot (free of charge) in the parents' rooms.
Children from 6 to 15 years pay a supplement of 30 euros for the extra folding bed in the room.
Maximum 1 extra bed can be placed in the room. Please note that this limits the space and comfort in the room.
If you have reserved a parking space through the ACCES, you will receive a parking ticket that you can use during your stay until 1 pm on the day of your departure.
Please note that you park in a public parking lot and this is done on your own responsibility. The hotel clearly indicates that you are obliged to park underground on the Mijnplein car park to use the hotel parking card. For all other use or stationing, the target can not be held responsible.
The parking card must be in possession of the ACCES hotel before 1.01 pm so that it can also be used for the next hotel guests.

Safe in your room for your valuables
In your room there is a safe where you can store your valuables. The management accepts no liability for loss or theft of valuables.
You can also place your luggage temporarily in the luggage room if you arrive early or on the day of departure. This is always under your own responsibility. If you wish to keep more valuables in storage, this can be done at the reception desk where your luggage will take place in a closed part of the hotel.
In any case, the hotel is not responsible for the contents of luggage.
Photos and videos
